Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Support Assistant at QLS Level 3Â course (USA Standards) will start off with all the veterinary terminology that will be essential for your veterinary career. The basic anatomy and physiology of animals will also be covered extensively through this course to help you deal with them appropriately.
Our tutors will enlighten you on how to interpret signs of pain in animals and on how to feed animals who are sick and healthy. This veterinary support level 3 assistant course will also walk you through the other daily tasks of a veterinary assistant such as monitoring in-patients, taking vital signs and record keeping, after which the health and safety regulations of a veterinary institute will be presented. Informative course, would have preferred some more details and more specifics and perhaps a wider range of animals to be at least mentioned within the course. Also certain parts of the course are very USA specific and would have no or limited application outside the US, especially the last module on regulations I had to google an EU equivalent of the US regulation. However over all it was a nice insight into the profession.

As an animal activist, I found this course interesting in its content and the way it was presented. It was step by step, which made it easier to understand the subject.
