Each unit of the Level 5 Diploma in Psychology is graded into four grades:

Fail – 0-39%

Pass – 40% – 59%

Merit – 60-69%

Distinction – 70% and above

All units are assessed by means of written assignments, which are marked internally by South London College assessors and then externally moderated by QUALIFI before any certificate is issued. To achieve a Pass or above you must provide evidence that you have satisfied all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit. Your transcript of qualifications will show the grades you achieved for each unit, and your final record of achievement will show your performance in each of the six compulsory units.
