• Written assignments: You will complete structured assignments for each unit that cover the required learning outcomes and assessment criteria. These may include essays, reports, reflections, and plans.
• Teaching practice: You must complete a minimum of 100 hours of real teaching practice. This includes working with groups of learners and demonstrating teaching skills in authentic learning environments.
• Portfolio of evidence: You will build a portfolio that brings together all your work, assignments, records of teaching practice, lesson plans, observations, feedback, and evaluations, to show you have met the standards of the qualification.
• Observation and reflection: Your teaching practice will be observed, and you will need to provide reflective accounts showing how you have applied theory in practice.
• Practical tasks: Some units may require practical evidence, such as curriculum planning, assessment design, or reviewing learning resources.
