Method of Assessment Examinations: There are no official exams.

Internal Assessment: The qualification is assessed by assessors from South London College.

Portfolio of Evidence: You will compile a portfolio containing all of your units. Evidence may include written assignments, work products, presentations, professional discussions, reflective accounts, questions and answers, case studies and expert witness testimony.

Practical Assessment: During the mandatory 400-hour professional placement, your practical skills will be directly observed in an approved Montessori early years setting and supported by other relevant evidence.

Grading: The qualification is graded as either ‘Achieved’ or ‘Not Yet Achieved’.
