• Entry is via an interview, and learners are assessed individually.
• There’s an initial assessment of maths, English, and ICT skills. South London College will identify any development needs and make an action plan.

• This course can be completed through two flexible study options to suit your lifestyle:
• Standard Course Plan (3 months) – ideal for learners balancing other commitments.
• Fast Track Option (1 month) – perfect for those who can dedicate intensive study time.
• Most learners complete within their chosen timeframe, though some may finish earlier depending on personal circumstances and available study time. We accommodate your pace with unlimited support for 12 months. This Level 3 Award requires approximately 81 guided learning hours.

• There are no written examinations.
• To complete the Qualifi Level 3 Award in Education and Training, you’ll be assessed through a portfolio of evidence that reflects real, work-related teaching and learning scenarios. Each unit will include written tasks designed to show your knowledge, understanding, and ability to apply key theories to practical situations. 
• Your assignments will be structured around the required learning outcomes and assessment criteria, and you’ll be encouraged to use real organisations or personal work experience to support your answers. South London College will provide case studies, research opportunities, and practical activities to help you engage with relevant teaching practice. 
• All assessments are internally set, marked, and moderated by the centre to ensure they meet Qualifi’s national standards. Results are recorded as Pass / Fail once you have demonstrated the level of intellectual rigour, problem-solving ability, and critical understanding required for this qualification.
