Internal Assessment: All assessments are internally marked by South London College.

Portfolio of Evidence: You must compile a portfolio to show you have achieved the learning outcomes. Evidence may include homework, projects, reports, worksheets, presentations, observations, witness statements, professional conversations, written or spoken questions and audiovisual evidence.

Grading: Units are graded as ‘Not Yet Achieved’, ‘Pass’, ‘Merit’ or ‘Distinction’.

The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Travel and Tourism is an excellent introduction to higher level qualifications in travel and tourism.

RQF
In England and Northern Ireland, regulated qualifications are classified by level and size using the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The framework consists of nine levels from Entry Level to Level 8. Size indicates the amount of learning required to achieve the qualification, and level indicates the complexity and demand of the learning.
