Certification Once you successfully complete the ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Computing and Advanced Statisticsyou’ll receive a nationally recognised ATHE qualification. 
Entry Requirements This course is designed for learners aged 18 and above. 

Learners should have at least one of the following: 

  • Prior study in computing or a related subject at Level 4 or above. 
  • A Level 4 qualification, such as: 
    • ATHE Level 4 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Computing 
    • Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) in a computing-related subject
  • Other equivalent international qualifications. 

 For learners whose first language is not English, the recommended minimum proficiency is: 

  • IELTS: 5.5 
  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): B2 
  • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): 162 or above
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 42–49

  • Assessment is assignment‑based, and you should complete tasks for each unit that show your understanding and skills.
  • You must complete all four mandatory units and submit work for each.
  • Your work is internally marked by your assessor against set criteria.
  • You can achieve one of three grades for each unit depending on quality: Pass, Merit, or Distinction
  • Grades are based on how well your submitted assignments meet the required learning outcomes.
