The ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Computing and Advanced Statistics helps you build strong, practical skills in computing and data analysis, with a real focus on how numbers and systems are used in everyday decision-making.

Learners should have at least one of the following: 

• Prior study in computing or a related subject at Level 4 or above. 
• A Level 4 qualification, such as: 
  • ATHE Level 4 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Computing 
  • Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) in a computing-related subject
• Other equivalent international qualifications. 

 For learners whose first language is not English, the recommended minimum proficiency is: 

• IELTS: 5.5 
• Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): B2 
• Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): 162 or above
• Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 42–49

• This course can be completed through two flexible study options to suit your lifestyle:
  • Standard Course Plan (9 months) – ideal for learners balancing other commitments.
  • Fast Track Option (4 months) – perfect for those who can dedicate intensive study time.
• Most learners complete within their chosen timeframe, though some may finish earlier depending on personal circumstances and available study time. We accommodate your pace with unlimited support for 12 months. This Level 5 Diploma requires approximately 240 guided learning hours.

• There are no formal exams. You are not assessed through written tests.
• Assessment is assignment‑based, and you should complete tasks for each unit that show your understanding and skills.
• You must complete all four mandatory units and submit work for each.
• Your work is internally marked by your assessor against set criteria.
• You can achieve one of three grades for each unit depending on quality: Pass, Merit, or Distinction
• Grades are based on how well your submitted assignments meet the required learning outcomes.

You will have up to 12 months to complete the course, giving you ample time to learn at your own pace. With continuous mentor support and access to the learning portal, you can study whenever it fits into your schedule.

Pay may differ based on experience, place, and employer data analytics training. The qualification also allows you to achieve higher remuneration positions with increased experience and higher qualifications.
