The Level 5 Diploma in Computing is a qualification equal to the 2nd year of a university degree programme. You will learn the advanced concepts of computing and everything you would be learning in the second year of a university degree.
After completing this diploma, you can enter the final year of the B.Eng. (Hons) Software Engineering Top-Up Degree.
To complete your qualifications faster, you can also choose the fast track route. Instead of completing the Level 5 Diploma in one year, you can finish it in just six months. This is how your journey would look like from diploma to a degree in the fast track route.
- Step 1: Level 5 Diploma in Computing (6 months)
- Step 2: B.Eng (Hons) Software Engineering (1 year)
This means you can complete the Level 5 Diploma and then enter the final year of a university degree and graduate within just 2 years total, saving 80% of your time and money.
To enrol, you need the Level 4 Diploma in Computing (can be completed in the fast track route) or any equivalent qualification. If you’re a non native learner, an IELTS score of 5.5 or a C grade for GCSE English is required.
