Therefore, South London College has introduced this Diploma in Essential Cat and Kitten Care at QLS Level 3 to help you adequately care for your pet cats and kittens to ensure a loving and long lasting relationship with them. This program is mainly aimed at pet owners and pet sitters. However, professionals in the veterinary and animal care industry might also find this course worthwhile, provided they have a reognised qualification at level 2 or above in a related disciple to get started with this course.
This in-depth course will start off by advising you to choose your cat or kitten properly. The cat you choose should be healthy and active, so that you can take measures to maintain their health and other physical and emotional needs.
The cat your chose will not only need food. It will also need proper grooming, regular veterinary visits and specifically your affection and attention to lead a quality life. Therefore this course will also touch on these topics to further strengthen your knowledge on cat and kitten care, followed up by modules that will cover the communicating aspects of cat care to help you form a strong bond with them. This comprehensive course will also provide you insights into the behaviours of cats to understand what they mean and to treat them accordingly.
