• Learners should be over the age of 19.
• It is recommended learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy, ICT, and numeracy or equivalent.

• This course can be completed in a matter of months or over the course of a year. Most learners will complete this course in 2-4 months. Some learners may complete the course quicker, depending on their personal circumstances and available study time. We will accommodate your pace, providing unlimited support for 12 months.
• The TQUK Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) requires approximately 90 guided study This figure is an estimate and depends on how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how quickly you grasp the teaching, learning concepts, and course materials.

• Written Assignments: Unit 1 is a theory-based unit. You will complete written assignments which will be carefully reviewed and evaluated by an assessor. You will use the principles and practices obtained through this unit throughout your career as an IQA and apply them during the Unit 2 assessment. These assignments will allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the course theory.
• Internal Marking and Feedback: All completed assignments are marked internally within South London College. You will receive constructive feedback and guidance from your personal tutor, which will support your learning and improvement.
• Workplace Evaluation: Unit 2 is the practical unit where you will learn how to check the quality of assessment processes to make sure they meet standards and criteria. In this unit, you will review the work of two Assessors, each working with at least 2 learners of their own. To complete this unit, you will be assessed by actually performing quality assurance tasks and creating evidence through work products. You will also be observed during your assessment. An expert witness should submit a statement on your performance as a trainee IQA. Your performance as an IQA will include:

RQF
