• To join this programme, you’ll need to be 18 years or older.
• The qualification has been designed to be accessible and supportive, without unnecessary barriers. In most cases, applicants will have a Level 4 qualification (or an equivalent qualification).
• If your qualifications are from outside the UK or you’ve followed a different route, we’ll carefully review them to make sure they’re suitable for progression into UK higher education.
• As the course is delivered in English, you’ll need to have a suitable level of English language ability.
• You’ll normally be asked to provide two references, ideally including at least one academic reference.
• We encourage applications from individuals without formal qualifications who have significant work experience, and upon application, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your readiness for the academic demands of the course through an interview.

• Most learners complete within their chosen timeframe, though some may finish earlier depending on personal circumstances and available study time. We accommodate your pace with unlimited support for 24 months. This Level 5 Extended Diploma requires approximately 960 guided learning hours.

• There are no formal exams.
• All units are assessed through written assignments. QUALIFI provides the assignment tasks for every unit. Each assignment covers all learning outcomes and assessment criteria, and learners must pass all of them to complete the qualification. Leaners are encouraged to use real workplace examples, case studies, or their own work experience in their answers. Some units may include practical tasks that require an assessor to observe your work. South London College will support learning by using relevant case studies and encouraging learners to use real business information for research. Every unit has a Candidate Workbook, which learners should use to write answers and attach any supporting evidence.
• All assignments are marked internally by South London College and then checked & moderated externally by QUALIFI to ensure quality before final certification.
