Written Assignments: To complete the qualification, you will need to submit a written assignment for all of the required units. Each unit is graded as Pass, Merit, or Distinction, depending on how well you meet the unit’s assessment criteria. To achieve a Pass in a unit, you must meet all of its learning outcomes at Pass level; to achieve a Merit or Distinction, you must also meet the higher‑level criteria. After you complete all eight units, your grades are converted into points and added together to determine your final overall qualification grade: Pass (360–431 points), Merit (432–539 points), or Distinction (540 points or above).  

Internal Marking and Feedback: All completed assignments are marked internally within South London College. You will receive constructive feedback and guidance from your personal tutor, which will support your learning and improvement.
