  • Tutor-Marked Assignments: This course requires completion of written assignments. Some units will specifically need you to showcase your skills through workplace evidence. Assignments will be assessed internally, and you will receive detailed, constructive feedback and guidance from your personal tutor. 
  • Practical Placement Requirement: A practical placement in an adult or childcare setting is required to demonstrate your skills. You should ideally work with two service users. You will gather evidence of your work and present it in a portfolio of evidence. Furthermore, the supervisor or manager will prepare and sign witness testimonies to confirm that you have met the work-based learning outcomes of the course.
